This notice is issued under Article 10 of Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("the Law") and the related Communiqué on the duty to inform. It applies to everyone who contacts us through this website, the request form, e-mail, telephone or WhatsApp.

1. Personal data processed

This website is a promotional site; no sales, payments or user accounts are processed through it. We process only:

• Identity: name, surname
• Contact: phone, e-mail, city/country, company name if given
• Request records: the content of your quotation, spare part and service requests
• Transaction security: IP address, date and time of access, browser information

We do not request special categories of personal data (health, religion, biometric data, etc.). Please do not enter such information in the message field.

2. Purposes and legal grounds

• Receiving, assessing and answering quotation, spare part and service requests — necessity for the conclusion or performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c)
• After-sales support and technical service — Art. 5/2-c
• Assessing export enquiries and planning customs and logistics — Art. 5/2-c and compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç)
• Site security and statutory record-keeping — legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç) and legitimate interest (Art. 5/2-f)
• Establishing, exercising and defending legal claims — Art. 5/2-e

We do not send promotional or marketing electronic messages; your contact details are used only to reply to your request.

3. Collection method

Data is collected electronically, partly by automated means, through the forms on this site and via e-mail, telephone and WhatsApp.

4. Transfers

Limited to the purposes above and in line with Article 8 of the Law, data may be shared with our accountants and legal advisors, with carriers and logistics companies where a request becomes an order, and with public authorities entitled by law upon request.

The servers of our hosting and e-mail providers and of messaging tools such as WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) may be located outside Türkiye. When you use these channels, your data may be transferred abroad subject to the safeguards in Article 9 of the Law (adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or incidental transfer). For export enquiries, data may be shared with logistics and customs counterparts in the destination country to carry out the transaction.

Personal data is never sold or rented to third parties.

5. Retention

Request records are kept for 2 years after the request is concluded if no commercial relationship follows, and otherwise for the statutory retention and limitation periods (as a rule 10 years). Server access logs are kept for the period required by Law No. 5651 and related legislation. Data is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the Law you have the right to:

• learn whether your personal data is processed,
• request information about the processing,
• learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly,
• know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom data is transferred,
• request rectification of incomplete or inaccurate data,
• request erasure or destruction under the conditions of Article 7,
• request that rectification, erasure or destruction be notified to recipients,
• object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis,
• claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

7. How to apply

Send your request in writing to the address above, by registered electronic mail (KEP), with a secure electronic or mobile signature, or from an e-mail address you have previously notified to us to bilgi@alpsanmak.com. Please include your name, nationality and passport or ID number, postal address, contact details and the subject of your request.

Applications are concluded free of charge within 30 days; if the action involves additional cost, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged. If your application is refused, the answer is insufficient or no answer is given in time, you may lodge a complaint with the Board under Article 14 of the Law.
